Founded by Tunico and Jacqueline De Biase in 1982, its colorful designs have won the hearts of the coolest girls in Rio and Brazil.

 

In 1988, Salinas opened its first store in Ipanema. Along with the growth of the brand in national and international markets, Salinas started participating in fashion weeks with memorable shows that are today part of the Brazilian fashion calendar. Today, the company has 400 employees, 43 stores in the best spots of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and other Brazilian capitals, as well as presence in 300 multi-brand stores all over the country. Salinas also exports to more than 25 countries, such as USA, France, Japan, Chile, Mexico, Portugal, Israel, and Dubai.

 

Its designs can also be found in major international retailers, such as Barney’s NY, Moda Operandi, Intermix, El Corte Inglés, Le Bon Marché, Anthropologie, and Scoop NYC.

 

The brand has been featured on the cover of several important international magazines such as Sports Illustrated, Collezione, Fom and GQ. Madonna herself has declared adepted to our styles.

 

Salinas has been part of Inbrands group since 2012, where Jacqueline remains the head of the design and leads a team of stylists who helps translate the Salinas way of living the beach with simplicity, freshness and the touch of sophistication.
